Recently I had the pleasure of assisting Lori Putnam in a Chestnut sponsored workshop. Lori's amazing talent as a painter and in-depth teaching skills helped all of us take a small field sketch and transform it into a large painting. We met at her studios in the Southgate Gallery over the Factory in downtown Franklin, TN. The setting was so inspiring! Hanging all around us were works by Dawn Whitelaw,
Jody and Pat Thompson, Paula Frizbe, and Jean Claude Yeager just to name a few! Here is my start at the first large landscape!
